Grassroots Grantmakers invites you to join experienced practitioners, newcomers to the field, and respected colleagues for allied organizations and disciplines to learn about grassroots grantmaking.
Topical conference calls (lower-tech) and webinars (higher tech) offer low-cost virtual learning opportunities on specific topics related to grassroots grantmaking. These calendar-friendly options range from introductions to a topic, new resource or emerging practice to delving deeper discussions on a challenge or dilemma that grassroots grantmaking practitioners regularly face. On the Ground learning gatheringsprovide rich opportunities for face to face peer learning and networking on a theme of core importance to grassroots grantmaking. Held one or two times each year and hosted by an exemplary Grassroots Grantmakers member organization, these gatherings are limited to 50 participants to maximize opportunities for peer to peer exchange. On the Ground gatherings provide unique and powerful opportunities for grantmakers and their community-level partners to connect as equals with others who are doing similar work in other locations.
Grassroots Grantmakers also expands opportunities for learning by offering presentations and workshops on grassroots grantmaking in conjunction with conferences and gatherings that are hosted by our colleague organizations.
